Al-Quds University and the Al Ofoq Foundation signed an MOU to build (Alofoq Fund for students enabling)

Ramallah - 31.8.2016 - Al-Quds University and the Al Ofoq Foundation for Youth Development signed an MOU to build ( Alofoq Fund for students enabling ), which was established in partnership with the National Bank and the Al Ofoq Foundation and Al-Quds University, which aim to grant interest-free loans for university students to enable them to pay tuition and paid according to comfortable mechanism.

The agreement was signed by the head of Al-Quds University Prof. Imad Abu Kishek, which in turn opened the meeting, praising the Fund role because its represents a key supporter of Al Quds and its university and students and the community through the facilitation on the Palestinian families that considered the Education is a strategic goal on its top priorities.

Prof. Abu Kishek stressed that this project is an important step towards strengthening the partnership between the Palestinian universities and civil society institutions and banks operating in the Palestinian territories in order to serve the development process in the Palestinian society.

The agreement also signed by dr. Mohammed al-fararja - Executive Director of Al Ofoq Foundation , which paid tribute to the role of Al-Quds University in the sustainability of the educational process as one of the most important pillars of education in the heart of Al-Quds and a key tributary of the creative energies of youth, He also stressed the importance of launching the fund in its first phase from the University of Jerusalem Due their political and patriotism privacy.

Dr. Ahmed Musleh, chairman of Al Ofoq Foundation talked about the nature of the work of the Foundation and projects that run on its implementation especially with regard to the training and operation of the new graduates in order to help solve part of the problem of unemployment, which is part of the solution is the civil society organizations along with government and official institutions.

At the end of the meeting was the signing of the text of the Convention, Thus they declared the launch of the Fund work, Wishing that serve the largest possible segment of Palestinian university students in the future.
