Al Ofoq meets a delegation from SOS Children's Village

Ramallah, 27 March 2017- The CEO of Al ofoq Foundation, Dr Mohammed Al fararjah received a delegation from the SOS children’s Village represented by Mr. Nail Al Helou and Mr. Yousef Al-Ajouri, in order to open fields of cooperation between the two institutions to serve the national development goals.
Mohammed Fararjah provided an explanation of the mission, goals and programs of the work at Al Ofoq which are represented by the Awareness, empowerment and participation program and also projects and activities which is provided by Al Ofoq.
Moreover, Al Helou and Al-Ajouri presented a definition of the village in Palestine and its projects and mechanism of the work with the children benefiting from the services of the village, and to identify their abilities, interests and individual talents.
During the meeting, they discussed the areas of future cooperation between the two sides to serve the effective development areas. In particular the vocational guidance, training projects and preparing a specialized training project for the beneficiaries of the Children Village within the awareness program which is implemented by Al Ofoq to increase the ability of children to communicate with the community and to build its individual capacity.
They agreed to include these fields within a memorandum of understanding that regulates the process of cooperation between them to serve the national developmental goals.
